Olive 安 Tatham

(If you only see a square box instead of the Chinese characters then your computer may not speak Chinese!)
My name is Olive An Tatham (Olive 安 Tatham)
安 = "An": a girl's (and boy's) name in Chinese and the character for "peace". The character comprises the radical for "roof" (宀) over the radical for "woman" (女); supposedly a woman under the roof equates to peace ... some might disagree.
Please call me Olive (fans of Prince may address me as "安, the baby formerly known as Olive").
My mum is Malaysian, my dad is British, I have a Singapore birth certificate, soon I'll hold a British passport and I'll be a Permanent Resident in Singapore.
I thought I would be the first baby to be named Olive this millennium but I was beaten to it by Olive Cohen, daughter of Sacha Baron Cohen ("My name Borat, you want sexytime?") and Ilse Fisher.

Hey Islandhippy,
I’ve guess it right! Finally dumpling has a name! But dumpling is still more affectionate, so I’m sticking with it!
Sandy, you look great in this picture!
• Thanks Agnes, we love the name Dumpling too! It will be hard to let go of.
• The best baby name suggestions came from young George Gosling in Cairo (son of Richard and Soo-Yuen). They were: Cinderella (he learnt about Cinderella in school that day) and Zucchini (he ate zucchini for dinner and liked the word). Thanks George!
Great name, i hope Thalia doesn’t try and eat her when she meets Olive, after all Olives are her favourite food!
I agree Sandy you are looking fab, did you end up getting the Malay massage?
Hugs
Katrina and a very hungry Thalia!
hello olive! beautiful name indeed!
as said this morning: brilliant name! just be careful she stays away from guys with the name rice…
… and offer stands to create an image for your banner, after my assignment is done. see ya soon.
Olive is a fabulous name - I want to eat her because I love eating olives!!!!!
Bonjour Olive, what a beautiful name. You both look fabuolous in the photo Sandy. Hope you have been able to make progress with the feeding. It is a lonely business in the middle of the night at first isn’t it. I bought Susie a huge Savoy cabbage to try putting leaves in her bra to soothe her. Anyway, my mum saw it, looked at Susie, and said, “…. Do you put the whole cabbage in?!”. Lots of love to all 3 lovely Singapore Tathams, Pxxx (trying to access remotely from old fashioned BB, not fancy iPhone)
