steamboat in Sembawang
Nov 2nd, 2008 by islandhippy
On Sunday, we made the long journey to deepest, darkest Sembawang for steamboat with Irene, Eric, Cheyanne, Agnes and Cindy. It felt like we travelled halfway into Malaysia, but Singapore is only 26 miles by 14 miles so unless we went round in circles (possible, as we took a cab) we couldn't have gone more than about 18 miles!
Olive (on the left in both photos) and Cheyanne kissing. Cheyanne is four months older than Olive and can crawl and pull herself up to a standing position with support. But she's almost one kilo lighter than Olive which may explain why chubbychops Olive can't even sit up yet! If you try to sit Olive up she melts onto the floor like a large dollop of runny dodol (a Malay caramel pudding).
Irene performing noninvasive surgery on Olive, well, cleaning her belly button at any rate.
