4-star Bed & Breakfast in Willoughby on the Wolds

[Olive, Sandy and Mum unveiling their new B&B]
Living in Singapore we forget people in other countries enjoy a sense of humour. Knowing that there are twelve people staying at Baxter Farm for Christmas, with fifty expected for drinks on Christmas Eve night, some witty fellow in the village has erected a fake sign announcing that Baxter Farm is now a 4-star Bed & Breakfast! If you tried that in Singapore you would be fined S$500.
So far, the only animals Olive sees on a regular basis at home in Singapore are house lizards, myna birds and the occasional snake. Today she saw a duck for the first time! The experience rather freaked her out and she screamed for a while. She was much better with the neighbouring farm's sheepdog:

That wasn’t a fake sign, it is real, found in a box of china from the local auction house. Sorry it’s not 5* but we’re working on it!
Lovely to see you and Olive at Christmas.
Love
