It is well known that Malaysia loves to claim world records ... it is home to the largest species of Rafflesia, which is the largest flower on earth; it holds the largest cave chamber, in Mulu, Sarawak; and, for a short time at least, it boasted the tallest building in the world.

Lesser known records that Malaysia can also lay claim to are:

the world's largest calzone pizza, which my sister-in-law Ngae had to help me finish, and ...

the world's largest carrot (surely that's a papaya, ed.), which Olive is drooling over even if she can't lift it.
