Just when a very large and increasingly tired Sandy was beginning to question the wisdom of being seven months pregnant with baby number two before child number one, Miss Olive, has reached her second birthday, she ran into two friends from our original baby classes, Maria and Daniel, who gave birth to their first child after Olive was born and who are now pregnant with their third child! Wow! Way to go Maria and Daniel. That's impressive.

Also, as if we didn't already know that pregnancy is contagious, our obstetrician is finally in the family way. This will be her first child and she's due to give birth a couple of weeks after Sandy. Apparently she just scans herself during breaks — how convenient.
